Jolimont Cemetery
Location: Jolimont, via Kuttabul, Queensland.
Local Government Authority: Mackay City Council
Access: Located on Private property. Cemetery no longer in existence. Was located in close proximity to the Bruce Highway near Jolimont Creek to the north of the township of Kuttabul.
History: The Jolimont property was part of the St. Helens run formed in the early 1860's. The Narpi State School conducted a project in 2003 to locate the cemetery. However it was discovered the old cemetery had been graded over for farmland and a homestead built on the top of the old burial ground. No headstones are known to exist or had existed. It was unlikely that any permanent headstones were made for the graves since all 6 burials are for children.
Number of Burials: Six according to the Mackay burial register.
